Xian International Culture and Art Festival

The Xian Ancient Culture & Art Festival held every September since 1990, aims to promote Chinese culture, communication between nations, consolidate the friendship and push tourism on to a new stage .

On the festival, there are age-old folk performances, craft and trade fairs, musical and artistic showpieces and many other events that showcase Xian's rich tradition and culture.

Among them, a new event is the Entering the City Ceremony for welcoming guests into Xian city on the ancient City Wall which was built in 1370 AD.  The ceremony is held there in order to reproduce the high courteous reception of the prosperous Tang Dynasty.

On Ethnic crafts and souvenirs exhibition, duplicate of Terra Cotta  Warriors, potteries and embroidery are in various kinds.
