Horse Racing Festival

Nagqu Horse Race Festival is the grandest annual festival in the Nagqu region of north Tibet. ugust is the golden season of grassland, when the grass is at its highest and the weather is most comfortable. Before the festival, herdsmen from various parts of Tibet in their holiday best,will come to Nagqu on their horses' backs.
