Pucheng County of Nanping City is teemed with sweet-scented osmanthus which is the County Flower of Pucheng.Pucheng sweet-scented osmanthus can be classified as cherry bay and autumn osmanthus. In the season when flowers are in full bloom, people would put a mat made of bamboo under the tree and sweep lightly through the branches. Bright red flowers will be falling down as people doing so. After clearing away the scraps with a white goose feather, the pure flowers will be boiled quickly in boiling water. Gather the flowers out and mix them with sugar, then immerse them in a jar and seal it. Several days later, sweet-scented osmanthus tea wins universal praise will come in being.
