There are about 20 thousand taxies in the Autonomous Prefecture of Gan’nan. For travelers, if they go to visit scenic spots where are lack of buses they can chart a taxi to go there. The initial fare is usually 3RMB or 4RMB and then the fare is one RMB per kilometer over three kilometers. and then the fare will be 1.5 RMB per kilometer over ten kilometers.
