◆Highway

With the national and provincial highways as its backbones and county roads, special roads and country roads as its branches, Jinchang has formed a communication network of leading to everywhere and conneting the main roads and siding roads, with 25 graded roads of 722.02 kilometer altogether.

Taking Jinchang, Hexibao and Yongchang passenger station as its centers, a transportation network of proper scale, rational distribution and good service has been formed in Jinchang. It has built 11 passenger stations, including a firstlevel, a secondlevel, two thirdlevel and seven forthlevel stations.

Jinchang has altogether 4320 commercial vehicles, including 3369 freight vehicles and 952 passenger vehicles (22 sleeping coaches, 130 large-size coaches, 189 medium-size coaches, 21 small coaches and 612 taxis). Besides, Jinchang has built 44 operation routes (15 long routes and 29 short routes); their number of runs is 340 and their running mileage is 8900 kilometers. Thus, they can send 40 coaches and receive 45 coaches every day, with a daily dispatched number of 5000 to 7000 passengers. Therefore, in Jinchang you can take through coach to every county and scene in Gansu, and also to most of the main cities in China like Lanzhou , Xi’an, Xining and so on.
