‘Longyuanhong’ red Fuji apple is big and fine in shape, tender and juicy,   not too sweet or sour, with beautiful color, delicious taste and good quality. According to the text of Quality Monitoring Inspection testing center for the Fruits and Nursery stocks of agriculture Department, the hardness of the fruit, the solubility of solid state material, the total sugar number, the titratable acid,  sugar and acid ratio and the six physic-chemical indexes of Vitamin C, have all reached or surpassed the standard of high quality apples in China especially the content of ascorbic acid Vitamin C is up to 932mg/100g and about two times as high as the average level. So it gained the gold award in the second Appraising Meeting of Fine Products of the Fruit trees in Gansu Province.
