Lily is one of the three treasures of Pingliang. The Emperor Han of Ming Dynasty has offered lily as a tribute to the capital, thus Pingliang lily spread all over the country, at that time in Chang’an, Jingjin( Beijing nowadays), Huguang( Hubei and Hunan nowadays), and people plant one after another, it is very popular. Pingliang lily has the texture of floss, without fiber, sweet and delicious, and a high sugar ratio.
