Wuwei Weather

Located in the center of Gansu province, Wuwei neighbors Inner Mongolia from the north and Qinghai from the south. The general climate in Wuwei is featured by warm temperate continental climate. Desert area in the north has few rains and sandstorms are quite usual. The central area takes advantage of the plains and nice climate, and it is a famous production area for rice and fruit. The southern mountainous area is a great place to escape the hot summer.

Sumer and autumn are the best travelling time to Wuwei, because rainy days make the trip more comfortable there. The recommended visiting places are Tianzhu Three Gorges, Huangyang (Yellow Sheep) River, Maya Snow Mountain, Leitai and Wen Temple.
