Deng family dishes, with special flavor of eastern Sichuan Province, are dishes of Deng Xiaoping’s for entertaining visitors. The main characteristics are rich dishes and economical with complete ways of cooking: cooling, frying, cooking, steaming and braising. The dishes are good for all ages.

There are eight host dishes: cool sauced sliced meat, “jiasha meat” with glutinous rice and sugar, steamed meat stripes with dry pickles, “the crisp meat”, tender garlic shoots with hot pepper “twice cooked meat”, short rip soup cooked with radish, “lianza Nao”, maize with sweet dumplings soup and the last dish of prickle to increase the appetite and change the greasy taste.
