Jialing River is the biggest branch of Yangtze River and it goes through Wusheng County from north to south with a total length of 117Kilometers. The zigzagging Jialing River is abundant with unique and various natural fishes. Several thousands of years, the industrious Wusheng people have created the unique natural way of cooking fishes in the long-term production activities. “Zhazha fish” is made by selecting 10 kinds of small natural fishes in Jialing River and split on at once and cooked by the way of red-roast and fried. The fish is from the river, so Zhazha fish is a natural fish and the fish is small in bulk, so people call it Zhazha fish.
