Air Passenger Transport
There is no airport in Guang’an, but it is about 1 hour from Guang’an to Chongqing Jiangbei Airport and only half an hour to Nanchong Airport.
Railway Transport
Electrified Xiangyu Railway Line (from Xiangfan to Chongqing ) runs from south to north. Guang’an owns six train stations, of which Guang’an Train Station is the most important distributing center of supplies and passengers in eastern Sichuan area. Every day, six couples of passenger trains, which can directly reach Chengdu , Chongqing, Xi’an, Zhengzhou , Beijing and Wuhan . The under construction Lanyu Railway Line (from Lanzhou to Chongqing) will traverse Guang’an City to open up a rapid path to the north.

Road Transport
The road network of Guang’an is leading everywhere. The total route kilometers and average density of Guang’an is above the level of Sichuan Province and China. Guanyu Highway (from Guang’an to Chongqing ) and Guangnan Highway (from Guang’an to Nanchong) traverse the whole city. It’s about 1 hour from Guang’an to Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport and it’s about 2 and a half from Guang’an to Chengdu .
