Happy Valley

Happy Valley covers a total area of 350,000 square kilometers and was constructed at a cost of one billion Yuan. It joins other modern theme parks in Shenzhen - after Splendid China, Chinese Folk Culture Villages and Windows of the World which combine participation, sightseeing and entertainment. The activities at Happy Valley cover the fields of sea, land and air and differ in the day time and in the night. Happy Valley is a mix of high technology and leisure and strives to provide tourists' ways to participate.

There are nine themed sections at Happy Valley. These are Spanish Plaza, Cartoon City, Adventure Mountain, Happy Time, Gold Mine Town, Shangri-la Forest, Hurricane Bay, Sunshine Coast, Maya Water Park and Happy Train , a high-altitude single track train. There are over 100 attractions here for both young and old. Items have been imported from USA, Holland and Germany and are the only ones of there type in Asia.

"Discoverer" in China which swings at a great height and "UFO", is a family ride which is among the best in the world. "Shooting the rapids" has the largest fall in the world. And "Xueshan Feilong" is the first suspended roller coaster in China. The Space Shuttle is the first "screaming tower" in China and the highest in Asia.
The park houses the first three dimensional Cinema in Asia and combines seeing, hearing and feeling together. The Maya Water Park is the only park in Asia to be awarded The International prize from the World Water Park Association.

Metro Line 1 leads right to Happy Valley. Get off at The Window of the World Station and 3 minute walk to Happy Valley. You can also take comfortable sightseeing bus from Luohu railway station to Happy Valley.

If you enter Happy Valley after 19:00, you only need to pay 50 Yuan for the night. You could enjoy the eight items in Happy Valley phase 3 for free, view the three play with water happily in Maya water Park for free.
