Shenzhen Golf Club(深圳高尔夫俱乐部)is located on Shennan Road of Futian District in Shenzhen, only 8 minutes’ drive to Huanggang Port. It’s the nearest golf club to Hong Kong in mainland China. Built in 1985, Shenzhen Golf Club covers an area of about 1,360,000 square meters, featuring 27-hole 108-par course of international standard. The golf club was designed by famous Japanese golfer Isao Aoki in the first place. In 1997, the golf club was renovated, and it was designed by the famous architect Mr. Neil Haworth from Nelson & Haworth Architect Company. After the renovation, there are more ups and downs, sandpits, pools and brand new grass. Among all the golf holes, the longest one is No. 1 hole in B course, covering 525 yards, whose wide and unobstructed fairway makes golfers give full play to their golf abilities. In the past few years, a large number of important events have been held in the club, such as the Volvo China Open.
