Fufengwen Tower was built by the county magistrate Cai Shanji in September, 36th year(1608) in Wanli Decade of Ming Dynasty. This seven- floor, octagonal tower was built with bricks. This 24.5 meters high tower is with a flat base and raised eaves. It was an empty tower in the past, but in the rebuilding in 1952, the top three floors were changed into solid. The bottle-shaped top was made of iron. The first to the second floors are now opened to visitors. When going into this tower, at every floor, visitors can step out of it and appreciate the beautiful scenery around, then the whole Zhongshan city become a beautiful picture in your eyes.
