Shanlan chickens were raised in Shalanyu market of Sanjiao Town, so they are also called “Sanjiao chicken”. For the reason of being transferred from Shiqi District , this kind of chicken are called as “Shiqi chickens” as well. Chickens of this breed are famous for their tender flesh, rich flavor and middle-sized figure, and because they are especially suitable for making soy tender chicken so they are quite popular in some cosmopolitans such as Guangzhou , Hong Kong and Macau .
