Introduction :
Huangjingdong Cave is called due to the fact that Huangjing, a certain kind of animal, was once raised in the cave. The cave is an irregular polygon with a length of 320 meters, a width of 170 meters and a depth of 238 meters at most. The area of the hole of this cave is 51,700 square meters and area of the bottom of this cave is 38200 square meters. This cave is one of the most beautiful and the most amazing caves among the Dashiwei cave group, being the national park of the Huangjingdong cave, the main attraction of the national geology park. It combines the views of tunnels, dissolved caves, high mountains, forests, waterfalls and myths. The entrance of the cave is covered with a virgin forest. The bottom of the cave where underground forest exists hosts big wild boars, a big wild animal. Inside the cave there are two seasonal waterfalls. Along the plank road built along the cliff you will see 29 attractions, such as Fairy Cabinet, King Kong of the Cave, Frog Prince of the Cave, Wild Orchid Garden and the Laya pines which are unique in the world. All these attractions can be seen all year around, even in rainy days and foggy days. At the moment, the base for rock climbing and fast descent is built in the cave, with three routes for rock climbing which meet the national standards and four 180-meter-long SRT routes for fast descent. The national park of Huangjingdong Cave is made up of Huangjingdong Cave Attraction, Rock Cave Attraction, Flower Ground Attraction, Ancient King Attraction, Channel Cave Attraction and Garden with Southwest Folk-custom. It has six caves and 37 landscape resources, among which Huangjingdong cave is the most special. The landscape of the cave is shocking and spectacular, with luxuriant forest at the entrance and big wild animals at the bottom. In the west of the cave, there is also a seasonal waterfall which falls over 100 meters above the ground. On the border of the cave there are myths about how the flog king protected the cave and stories about the descent of seven fairies from the heaven. In addition, there are 29 more scenic spots, such as the mysterious King Kong of the Cave, Immortal Doves of the Cave and the Statue of Huangjing.
