Leye Dashiwei Scenic Spot

Introduction :

Distributing 24 great caves in the mountains and hills in less than 20 square kilometers, Leye cave cluster is the biggest cave cluster in the world. Currently, Dashiwei Great Cave, Baidong Great Cave and Through-the-hole Great Cave have been developed. Among them, the Dashiwei Great Cave is the most outstanding in the Leye cave cluster. The underground primary forest is the largest in the world. And with a depth of 613 meters, the cave is the second deepest dissolved cave in the world. The cave is 600 meters long, 420 meters wide, with a capacity of 80,000,000 cubic meters. In this sense, the cave is also second to the best, resulting in the name of "holy land for dissolved cave ". In this special and strange dissolved cave which is like a vertical well, primary forest exists with rare animals and plants. The attraction is just amazing in the sense that there are more caves and rivers at the bottom of the Cave. The rivers are flowing rapidly. Stalagmites arise erectly where two underground rivers, one with warm water, the other with cold water, meet.   The stalagmites are standing straight. The rocks are crystal and bright. Waterfalls can be seen everywhere. The view is unusual and charming, with abundant beauty spots, extraordinary shapes. This attraction is well worth a visit. In hamlets around Dashiwei, there are 20 more unique caves, such as Baidong, Shenmu, Sujiakeng, Jiameng, Yanzi, Gaimao, Huangjing, Fengyan, Datuo and Chuandong. Thus, the unique great cave cluster forms. Around the cave cluster, there are more than 30 attractions of dissolved cave, like Maoqi Cave, Mafeng Cave, Zhuomudang Up Cave and Down Cave, Xiongjiadong Cave and West Cave. In addition to these beauty spots, there are some humanities views around, for example, visitors can see the old site where the seventh Red Army and the eighth Red army met and the ancient workshop to make paper. The place has become the favor of many archeologists, experts on animals and plants, explorers and tour lovers who seek for adventure. Dashiwei is the most outstanding and impressive attraction in the whole cave cluster. It is therefore the perfect place to visit.

the bus to Yachang forestry center passes entrance of the attraction. At the entrance of the attraction, there are electricity car to take you into the attraction. Or you may take a taxi to go directly into the attraction, which costs about 30 yuan (one-way)

Tips: (1) Don't litter after entering Dashiwei Great Cave Scenic Spot. (2) The primary forest at the bottom of the Dashiwei Great Cave covers an area of 96,000 square meters and the map of China on the cliff covers an area of 9,600 square meters. This seems to be in coincidence with the total area of China which is 96, 000, 000 square kilometers. (3) Please take care of the grass and trees in the attraction. Don't take the peculiar stones or the flowers and trees when leaving the attraction. (4) There are free electricity vehicles and tour guide in the attraction. The expense is included in the tickets. (5) The roads in the attraction are made of cement, but since the roads are often curved, it is sometimes dangerous to walk. Visitors should do as what the guide instructs.
