The great gathering of tourists from home and abroad, Guilin

With “welcoming the tourists to spend the Spring Festival in Yangshuo” as the theme, a large number of tourist activities with distinctive local culture are held in Yangshuo during the period of the Spring Festival, including inviting the foreigners to West Street for dinner, the great Gathering of tourists at home and abroad, the dance of dragon and lion to celebrate the festival, special garden activities and other celebration activities, attracting lots of tourists though it’s such a cold day during the festival.

In the New Year's Eve, the foreign teachers, tourists and friends are invited to a restaurant to learn how to make dumplings under the guidance of instructors and have a big reunion dinner with the leaders of Yangshuo County. Besides, Chinese and foreign tourists can taste the traditional Chinese dumplings with relish and enjoy a variety of traditional Yangshuo dishes and local snacks, such as Beer Fish and New Year cake.

Meanwhile, as people are enjoying dinner, there are various entertainment activities that are performed by Chinese and foreign guests. In order to celebrate the festival in their own way and dedicate to the occasion, the foreigners put on a variety of performances happily and enthusiastically. And they also receive some fancy New Year presents. At the end of the performances, all the participants welcome the New Year together when the New Year's bell rings.
