To prepare this dish, you need to prepare the superior glutinous rice and make it to flour. Then, put the brown sugar and ginger into the boiling water with oil to make the mellow ginger-sugar water. When the water is cooled, knead dough until it could be made into different shapes. Then, apply a lay of dried lotus leaves on the steamer and lay the glutinous dough on it. Remember to wrap the dough with the leaves carefully. Afterwards, steam the whole dish for 4-5 hours. The sugar tsamba can be edible after cooled off.
