Overview
Pingxiang, as the southwestern border of China, is situated in the southwest of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is 231 kilometers away from Nanning City, the capital city of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and it takes about one and a half hour between two cities. Pingxiang, as the border city with the city area of 650 square kilometers, the population of over 150,000 and the largest number of ports, is the most convenient land route from China to Vietnam and Southeast Asian countries. It borders Vietnam on the south and wes and is 160 kilometers away from Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. There are 17 nationalities in Pingxiang, including Zhuang, Han, Miao, Dong, Yao and Buyi nationalities. Pingxiang enjoys a subtropical monsoon climate and it’s neither too hot in summer nor too cold in winter. Pingxing has abundant rainfall each year with the annual average temperature of 22°C.
