Wuzhou Paper Wrapped Chicken is produced by soak frying the authentic Sanhuang Chicken that has been cut into pieces and seasoned and wrapped in the heavy gross paper. Therefore, it has a fragrant smell and fresh and delicate taste and very special production craftwork, enjoying a wide spread fame domestic and abroad. Wuzhou Paper Wrapped Chicken is said to have a history of 80 years and was first invented by Guanliang, the cook of Huangcui Hotel of the Lawsuit Office of Wuzhou City in the early days of Republic China. At the very first beginning, the paper wrapped chicken were only used to treat the high ranking officials, and later, Guanliang was hired by the owner of Yuexi House, a famous wine house with high payment and since then the paper wrapped chicken started to be enjoyed by the ordinary people and gradually won a wide spread fame in the places including Guangxi , Guangdong, Hong Kong , Macao and the places in Southeast Asia.
