Litchi is the famous product of Yulin with a cultivated history of more than one thousand years. The litchi in Yulin have various breeds, just like Heiye litchi, Heli litchi, Dazao litchi, Nuomici litchi, Gualv litchi, Clove litchi, Guiwei litchi, Tangbo litchi, Baila litchi, Jianye litchi , Jinfeng litchi, Water litchi, Snow litchi and Fat litchi. The litchi looks bright and the pulp is fleshy. It earns the name of the king of fruit for its wonderful taste and valuable nutrition. Yang Guifei loved litchi very much, so the poem described it handed down which said in order to gain Yang Guifei’s smile, the Emperor asked people send litchi to Chang’an from thousand of miles away.
