Dafu Mountain Forest Park

Dafu Mountain Forest Park is located 3 kilometers (about 1.86 miles) west of Panyu District Bridge, Guangzhou City, which covers an area of about 8,700 mu (580 hectare). The main peak of Dafu Mountain, which is the second highest peak in Panyu District, is 222.6 meters above the sea level. Natural lakes and artificial lakes add much more color to the park. In Dafu Mountain Forest Park, you can hear birds’ twitter, and smell the fragrance of flowers. Many kinds of Palmae plants create a tropical picture.

What’s more, there is no entrance fee and parking fee. However, the scenery in Dafu Mountain Forest Park is no less beautiful than other parks who charge entrance fee. So, on weekends, people can come to Dafu Mountain Forest Park for a walk, appreciating the scenery along the road and enjoy the fresh air. Besides, Dafu Mountain Forest Park is also known as the oxygen bar of Panyu District.

How to get there:

You can take Bus 288 and go directly to Dafu Mountain Forest Park. Or, you can also take Subway Line 3 and then take Panyu Bus 15, Panyu Bus 16, Panyu Bus 18, Panyu Bus 9, Panyu Bus 23 b or Panyu Bus 9 Chang to get to Dafu Mountain Forest Park.
