Confucius Temple, located in the east of AnshunCity, with an area of more than 7,000 sq meters, was built in the early period of Hongwu (1368-1398). Experiencing restorations and building continuations for several times in the 4th Tianqi year (1624), the 7th and 55th Kangxi years (1668, 1716) and the 16th Daoguang year (1837) respectively, the temple has always been tending perfection and formed a grand group of ancient buildings.

There are numerous Confucius temples in China, but rarely constructed with stones like this. The whole yard was paved with Qing stone bricks, the old bricks and the weeds and grass growing in the cracks make this place suitable for recollection of the good old days.
