Brief Introduction
Tongren Prefecture lies in the northeast of Guizhou Province. As an inland mountainous area endowed with favorable geographic conditions and rich natural resources, Tongren Prefecture has great potential for development. Thanks to its mild climate and abundant rainfall, its agriculture develops quite well, which makes it known as “a fertile land of fish and rice” on Guizhou Plateau. There are lots of scenic spots and historical sites in Tongren, including Fanjing Mountain, Jiulong Cave, Jinjiang River, Three Gorges of Wujiang River, and Shiqian Hot Spring, etc.
