Stone Carving of Qinghai Province, Haibei

The stone carvings of Qinghai Province are various in types. There are Kunlun Jades in Kunlun Mountain, steatite in Huzhu, “Zhongba Stone” in Ledu, and “Heba Jade” in Daheba and colorful stones in Huangzhong. The most famous one is Kunlun Jade. The jade is fine in texture and it is bright in color and luster. The archaize craftworks made by the jade, such as drinking set, archaize censer, brick carving of Ta’er temple, are favored a lot by the tourists.
