Henbane, called "Henbane marsh" in Tibetan language, of the genera Solanum, biennial herbs, distributes in Tibetan autonomous state such as Haidong Region and Hainan, Huangnan, Haibei, growing on the slopes, by the woods or roadside of 1700 to 2600-meter altitude. The seeds of henbane are poisonous but used as medicine for convulsion-relieving, pain-killing, pacifying. Besides, Tibetan doctors use it to cure nasal eczema, syphilis, neural paralysis in the head, decayed tooth, and so on.
