The Xixiu Beach Park covers about 66700 square meters, with the coast line of 1200 meters long. The sea water here is of the standard of the national II level with a hot spring of 49.5 C. Every year, around 300 swimming athletes come here to have their winter training for about 4-5 months. So far, the Beach has become an international sailing training base, an international yacht club and a Chinese Lido, which is a good place for the visitors to enjoy every possible in the sea.

How to get there:

Taxi：Take a taxi from Haikou to Wanlvyuan with charges of about RMB 10-15. Autobus： Bus No. 12 from Xinbuqiao to Xiuying gets there. (Charges about RMB1-2 Yuan)

Xixiu beach is not as lively as holiday beach, but it is much clean and comfort. You can lie on the beach enjoy your leisure time on sea view seeing not worry about bothering cause it is not noisy as holiday beach. Otherwise, stuffs sell on the beach are dear.

Is there any organized beachvolley boll training /adult camps/or games in Xixiu mid July- end July 2008. Or possibillities to hire a coach? Cost? Where? How? /j
