Tropical Ocean World

The great Merry Ocean will impress visitors at the first sight upon entering the park. It is about 20,000 square meters, surrounded by various statues of ocean creatures and colorful fountains. One part of the Merry Ocean is set up as the home to some 30,000 colorful tropical fish, which draws crowds of visitors every day. There are two peculiar entertaining items in the park. One is the Laser Water Screen Movie, and the other is the Pirate Ship and the Treasure Island. The Pirate Ship is of the shape of the 19^th century European sailing ship, equipped with model guns, cannons and modern sound effects, which can be used to simulate a mini ancient war. There is an amusement park in which visitors can enjoy themselves with items like Bungee Jumping, sliding board, shaking board, manual railcars and shooting games. An item called Flying Man is really exciting and challenging, in which a man will be thrown into the air and swing like a pendulum. Besides, there is a restaurant, a theater, a “spatial-temporal tube” and a “dream house”. All can bring visitors great fun. To the west of the Merry Ocean, there is a 350-meter Drifting River. On the river, visitors can experience the interesting “ancient tribe”, “fancy space cave”, “great waterfall” and “dangerous shoal”. It is a good place to have fun and excitement.

There is a tropical rain forest area in the park too, which is divided into four gardens. In the Tropical Tree Garden, visitors can appreciate lots of rare tropical trees; and in the Tropical Flower Garden, tropical flowers are on shown. The Tropical Fruit Garden is where visitor can see and can even taste all kinds of tropical fruits; and the Tropical Rain Forest Garden is where visitor can stroll and take a good rest.  The most impressive building in the park is the Millennium Tower, which is 131.101 meters high, with beautiful air garden and sightseeing platform.

Besides these, the Ocean Flavor Village, the Oceanic Park, the Shell Museum and the Shark House are worth visiting too.
