The Six Harmonies Pagoda was built in the year 970 as an offering to the elements calm the tidal surges. The climb to the top of the pagoda will give a bird's view of the beautiful scenery of the Qiantang River. It gives you the feeling of "standing on the top level of the green water".

The Chinese ancient pagoda exhibition garden was built on the Yunlun Mountain behind the Six Harmonies Pagoda in 1993. The park contains nearly a hundred famous pagodas built in a miniature. Visitors the pagoda garden may view and admire ancient pagodas of many artistic forms and architectural styles.

on the Yuelun Peak of the north bank of Qiantang River, Hangzhou City

Ticket Price:

the admission fee: 20 yuan per person

plus 10 yuan for ascending the tower

Opening Time:

from 6:30 to 17:30

How to get there:

Take No. 308 and 504 buses to Six Harmonies Pagoda.

Tips:

Be more careful when you are ascending the tower, for the stone steps of the pagoda are very steep.

This pagoda on the bank of the West Lake is a fine example of Chinese pagodas. It harmoniously exists with the expanse of water and enhance the vastness of the lake.
