The White Water Gully in Hangzhou is a unique gully found in Linan. It is considered as one of the best and most attractive tourist destinations in the Hangzhou area of Zhenjiang.
 
It attracts many visitors from all over the world especially since it is quite unique and is also one of the ecological tourism areas that are nearest to Shanghai, Suzhou, Nanjing, and Wuxi.So aside from providing Hangzhou guests with a great place to spend their holidays in, the White Water Gully also brings in visitors from neighboring cities. 
 
The location of the White Water Gully also connects it to the Quankeng Village. The proximity to the village helps add a unique character to the ecological tourism area. The manmade village and the natural waterscape in the area create the perfect blending of nature and man. The gully also flows into a small stream, which makes its way beside the village; this is called the White Water Stream. This means that the gully is also of high significance to the people living in the Quankeng Village. The White Water Stream has also built a reputation of its own for being clean and refreshing.

Although the White Water Gully is not the most popular tourist destination in Hangzhou, it still gets plenty of visitors because of its uniqueness. The only reason why it is not as famous as other natural scenic areas in Hangzhou is because it is less accessible from downtown Hangzhou.

Location:

The White Water Gully can be found in Hengfan, Lin’an, Zheijiang. 

Ticket Price:

The White Water Gully charges CNY38 per person as the tariff fee. 

Opening Time:

The White Water Gully is open to visitors for the whole day, even in the evenings. However, the best time to visit is in the afternoon.

How to get there:

To get to the White Water Gully, guests can take bus no. 18, which can be found at the Lin’an North Bus Station. The bus will make its way to Hengfan. From there, guests have to transfer to a bus that will take them directly to White Water Gully. The trip is quite long; it usually takes about 70 minutes but costs only 5 yuan per person. 

Visitors can also take a taxi going to White Water Gully; taking a taxi is more convenient. A cab ride will take about 30 minutes to traverse the way from Lin’an to the White Water Gully. However, it will cost visitors 35 to 40 yuan, which is way more expensive than taking the bus. You can, however, ask the driver to pick you up for the return trip.
