Di Yi Di Shui Teahouse(or the Teahouse of the First Drop of Water), meaning the Teahouse of the First Drop of Water, is located on Shengtai Plaza (or the Plaza of Ecology) in Anji County, Zhejiang Province. It was open for business in September, 2009, covering a business area of about one thousand square meters. Di Yi Di Shui Teahouse is a picturesque building with courtyard, which is hidden in the flourishing woods and tall bamboo bushes. Although the surroundings are noisy, the atmosphere in the teahouse is quiet and cozy. There is also a corridor where there are some stone tablets on which calligraphy and paintings on the subject of bamboo have been created and carved by many noted calligraphers and painters in China. Di Yi Di Shui Teahouse is carefully designed by professional designers, so that it can combine the practical applicability and beauty, combining business and leisure and classical elegance and modern sense.
Di Yi Di Shui Teahouse owns an ecological tea garden with an area of two hundred mu (about 13.33 hectares). The tea growing in this garden is under the idea of maintaining the ecological diversity. The tea leaves are carefully selected from all over China by professional examinators. In addition, Di Yi Di Shui Teahouse has researched and developed many kinds of Di Yi Di Shui private home tea on the basis of natural tea, the production of which is quite small. Di Yi Di Shui Teahouse has its unique way to make Anji white tea. They ladle the tea with Longquan celadon ware. In terms of packaging tea leaves, Di Yi Di Shui Teahouse sticks to the idea of being simple, elegant, environment-friendly, functional and beautiful.
