The Baoding candied haws on a stick is famous far and wide within the province. It does not convey the patterns sold in Beijing Temple Fair even a little bit. The candied haws on a stick have several kinds of fillings: the hawthorns only, the hawthorn with read bean paste, the hawthorn with green bean paste and the sesame yam (formal name is Huai Shan). They are attractive whereas the most expensive one costs only 3 yuan. The most famous in local area are the king of sugarcoated haws on a stick and Lvji.
