Railway

The railway transportation is convenient in Baoding city. The Baoding Train Station situated in the downtown area is a necessary stop in the Beijing - Guangzhou Railroad. The public buses in the city No.1, No.2, No.4, No.5, No.7, No.10, No.11, and No.12 all run to the train station. Most of the trains go to the south pass by. Here trains are available to Xi’an, Chengdu , Wuhan , and Guangzhou city. It takes about one and half hours from Baoding to Beijing. The intercity train runs from Shijiazhuang to Beijing is the first choice of tourists, which is secure and inexpensive. Special ticket window in the Baoding train station sell intercity tickets, one can buy tickets in the train back to the city, too. Both require no extra charge.
