Jiaoshan Mountain

The major scenic spots of Jiaoshan mountain include Jiaoshan Great Wall, Hanmen Pass, and Qi Xian Temple, and so on.

Jiaoshan Great Wall includes the huge flat top of the highest peak of Jiaoshan mountain. Ascending on top of Jiaoshan Great Wall, you will have a full view of the distant mountains and nearby seas, as well as the grand and picturesque scenery inside and outside of the Great wall.

Hanmen Pass is one of the passes in the southern part of Jiaoshan mountain, and is composed of two parts---the city tower and city platform. It is of vital and highly strategic importance in its geographic location, and is one of the ten greatest passes of Shanhai Pass.

Qixian temple is located in the inner side of Jiaoshan mountain, and the architecture is a brick and wood structure. There is a great wonderful view in the temple, which is named “mountain temple rain and sunshine”. It is a unique sight of Jiaoshan mountain in summer: Sometimes it is drizzling continuously at the mountain foot, but it is clear and fine in the temple with bright sun shining in the sky; while sometimes it rains dogs and cats in the temple, but it is shiny at the foot of the mountain. The difference is so large between the two places which are so close to each other, making you gasp in high admiration and surprise.
