Zhangshiyan Scenic Spot

Zhangshiyan Scenic Spot is beautiful all year around:  birds singing and flowers sending off fragrance in spring; clouds floating and waterfall splashing in summer; red leaves fluttering in autumn; and icicles hanging and dripping in winter.

Zhangshiyan Scenic Spot has four relatively independent sections, namely Jiunvfeng (nine-girl peak), Yuantong Temple, Zhihutao, and Donglingbei. The main attractions include red rocks and red cliffs, springs, waterfalls, temples, steles and etc. If tourists want to watch clouds and mists, the best place is at Shirenzhai village, Jiunvfeng Peak, Cloud Pavilion, or Camel Rock. If they want to enjoy mirages at Xian ren Peak (Immortal Peak), Bijia Peak (Pen-holder Peak), Sanzhan, or Camel Rock.

Travel route for the 1^st day：Tour Donglingbei in the morning, have lunch at Zhangshiyan, and then tour Zhihutao in the afternoon. The 2^nd day: visit Yuantong Temple in the morning, return in the afternoon.

There are several buses destined to Zhangshiyan every day at Shijiazhuang Long-distance Bus Station. There are also buses to the spot near Shijiazhuang Railway Station.

generally it is colder inside the scenic area than outside, visitor would better take extra clothes.
