Tangshan Earthquake Museum, completed in 1986, comprehensively display the general conditions, the earthquake disaster relief historical materials, the achievements of reconstructions, and the economic and social development after the earthquake. The 513 meter long exhibition line, divided into nine sections, displays 620 photos, more than 100 graphs, 421 kinds of things, and 13 big sand table models. The exhibition objectively reflects the heavy losses of Tangshan people’s life and property, praises their great courage of anti-earthquake, reconstruction and rebuilding their homeland, and shows the unselfish aids from people in other areas of China as well.
