If you wander on the big streets and small lanes of Tangshan in late autumn or early winter, you will find many attractive Chinese chestnut stalls. This period is the harvest season of Chinese chestnut, and there are a large of such stalls in the regions of Beijing , Tianjin , and Tangshan.  The chestnut looks beautiful, smells fragrant, tastes wonderful, and it has smooth red skin and tender delicious flesh. Rich in starch, protein, fat and others, it is a healthy food suitable for both old and young.
