In Zhangjiakou City, JingBao Railway (from Beijing to Baotou) and DaQin Railway (from Dalian to Qinhuangdao) are across from west to east. Zhangjiakou Southern Station is located in the southern end of urban area. It is accessible by NO.1 or NO.10 public bus. Then, you can reach Beijing City, Datong City and other places by Train there. It takes about 3 hours and a half to get to Zhangjiakou from Beijing Station by Train K23 (starting from Beijing at 7:45, arriving at Zhangjiakou at 11:03) or from Beijing Western Station by Train K177 (starting from Beijing at 13:25, arriving at Zhangjiakou at 16:42), or Train K217 (starting from Beijing at 19:18, arriving at Zhangjiakou at 22:35).
