Yuquan Ski Resort

Situated on Zhangguang cai Mountain Range(Heilongjiang province) ,65 miles north western of Harbin , Yuquan Ski Resort borders the largest hunting park in Asia and is surrounded by 17 picturesque mountains with the highest one, Dark Stone Mountain, 547 meters above sea level. The hunting park occupies an area of 3000 hectares and mountains are covered by greenery. The park boasts of more than 60 kinds of trees, 40-some kinds of birds and thousands of deer. Built in 1930s, the resort is no doubt the oldest one in China and some of the tourist sites in the resort can date back to Song dynasty. Yuquan Ski Resort can offer most to the beginners for its long skiing season, high-quality snow, convenient slope, cables and free-style ski trails. Meanwhile, it is an entertainment place which perfectly combines skiing with hunting. For example, the tourists can play snow sledge driven by horses, snowball, snowing balloon and ride horses. The hotel here can accommodate more than 3000 people and hold intermediate business meeting at the same time.
