A Brief Introduction to the city

Hegang is situated in the northeastern part of Heilongjiang province. It is located in the  zone where Small Xing’an Mountains join the Plain of Three Rivers. The city owns the favorably-endowed tourist resources and rich humanistic sceneries, which entitle the city to be one of the most glamorous tourist places of interest in the country. For instance, the imposing three Gorges of Heilongjiang at the border of China and Russia, the aggregation of four seasons  at Bailong Canyon , the ancient trees stretching to the sky in virgin forests, and hundreds of birds perching in the moisture land of reed field. The touring along the Jie River will enable you to have a good view of the two countries, i.e. China and Russia. Across the river is the Jewish Autonomous State of Russia. Hegang has an inner city area of 4,551 square kms with a population of 697,000.
