Located at the eastern edge of the Eurasia Continent, Heilongjiang is blessed with continental monsoon climate. It is frigid and dry in winter, hot and rainy in summer and the weather is changeable in spring and autumn. The mean yearly temperature is 1 °C, and the difference in temperature is 38-48 °C throughout the year.
Tips
Heilongjiang is the northeastern most province in China. Winter is long and frigid while summer is short and cool there. The temperature in the south differs greatly from that in the north. In some part of northern Heilongjiang, it is even winter all year around.
