Get in and Get Around in Yichun?

It is 350 kms and 150 kms from Yichun to Harbin International Airport and to Mengguli Airport of Jiamusi respectively. Visitors from faraway can get to domestic and international destinations through these two airports. The Harbin Heping International Airport, the important air harbour of the Northeast of China, boasts of more than 50 courses leading to every large domestic and international city at present and an annual flow of passengers up to 2 million persons/times. Mengguli Airport of Jiamusi, although small in scale, can serve as the important transfer station of Yichun.

Railway

The double-tracking railways from Beijing to Jiujiang and the double-tracking railways from Zhejiang to Jiangxi join in Yichun. The railways from Beijing to Jiujiang run across the two cities of Fengcheng and Zhangshu while the railways from Zhejiang to Jiangxi run across the three places of Fengcheng, Zhangshu and Yuanzhou.

Railways:

The railway is an important means of transportation in Yichun. There are through trains to other provinces and cities, such as Shandong , Liaoning and Beijing, Tianjin and Harbin, etc. ; There are some scenic spots on the line of Tanglin -from Nancha to Wuyiling, such as Meixi, Jinshantun , Yichun, Wuying , Tangwang River , Wuyiling ,etc., all leading directly to Harbin . There are nearly 60 trains running on this line every day, so the railway traffic is very much developed here.

Highways:

A high-quality highway has already been built up from Yichun to Tieli, which can reach Harbin by expressway through Suihua, with a journey of only 3.5 hours. Visitors to the National Forest Park of Wuying, the Stone Forest Scenic Spot of Tangwang River Jiayin and the border town of Jiayin can enjoy great convenience due to the highway from Yichun to Jiayin .

The city has highways as long as 16.515km, the highway network is mainly made up of express National Highway 320 and 105 from Jiangxi province to Fujian province, with 17 Provincial Highways as the backbone, 81 county roads and 261 township roads as the connection lines.

Mass Transit

Yichun has 24 public traffic lines now, the departure time of the earliest bus in the morning is 6:30, and the last bus departs at 18:00 or 21:00. By the way, the buses are all self-service since 2001. Ticket price is RMB2.

Taxi

The charges for taking a taxi are as follows: Bottom price (within 2km) is RMB 5 but RMB 6 at night (from 23:00 in the deep night to 6:00 in the early morning); mileage price for more than 2km increases by RMB 0.3, that is to say the price changes RMB 1.2 for each kilometer to RMB 1.5 each kilometer; while at night the price changes from RMB 1.8 to RMB 1.5 for each kilometer.
