The arrangement of the whole temple faces south, with three-ply courtyards. Main palace halls are: Tianwang Palace, Dafo Palace, Erfo Palace and Tiewa Temple. The four palaces are arranged orderly.
The tower of Tang Dynasty is a square single-cornice pavilion-like brick one between Tianwang Palace and Tiewa Palace. It is about 16 meters high, simple and unsophisticated. Various sculptured ornamentations are on the outside of the tower body, and the strangest thing is that all sculptured ornamentations are pieced together with various sculptured bricks which are triangular, diamond, rectangular and pentagonal. The content includes Tianwang, Lishi, Feitian in Buddhism, Taoist holy man, boy and maid in Taoism, and the folk traditional patterns: Green Dragons and White Tigers. The mix of Buddhism and Taoism showed that the feature of the culture in the Tang Dynasty is mingling with alien cultures. The tower is a precious one.
