Transportation

Jiaozuo is one of the areas which have convenient transportation in Henan Province. Jiaoxin, Jiaozhi, and Jiaotai railways run through the city and join Jingguan Railway in the east, link Longhai Railway in the south, reach Taiyuan in the north. Jiaeng and Jiaojing highways and the Yellow River Road Bridge at Jiaozuo connect with the national highway and crisscross the local road net. The distances of traveling to the provincial capital Zhengzhou, the Zhongyue Song Mountain, the ancient capital city Kaifeng and Luoyang, and Jincheng in Shanxi Province are all within one hundred kilometers. The highway transportation system is developed and convenient. The artery of highway transportation includes No.106, No.107, No.310 highways, and others.

Taxi

There are over 1,300 taxis of different types in Jiaozuo, and the fare is 5Yuan every three kilometers (6Yuan every three kilometers at night). If the mileage is over three kilometers, the fare per kilometer will be added by 1.00Yuan for Xiali and Miandi, and as to Beverly, Santana, Jetta, and Chery, 1.20Yuan will be added for each kilometer. It is free of charge when waiting for someone within 5 minutes. When wait for over 5 minutes, the fare is 1.00Yuan/5mins for Xiali and Miandi, 1.20Yuan/5mins for Beverly, Santana, Jetta, and Chery. If the mileage is over 10 kilometers, customers can negotiate the charge with the driver based on the fixed price.
