East of Temple of Yu the Great is Memorial Temple of Three Saints which once housed the statues of Li Bai, Du Fu, and Gao Shi and in the Ming Dynasty the statues of poets Li Mengyang and He Jingming were added. West of the temple is Shuide(Flood Control Achievements) Memorial Temple built in the memory of those who did great contribution to flood control. In the front of the temple is Imperial Calligraphy Tower where hangs a horizontal board Gong Zai He Luo inscribed by Emperor Qianlong. Nowadays, this area has been rebuilt into Yu the Great Platform Park which holds Dongjing Temple of Yu the Great Fair every year and witnesses swarming tourists.
In this park there was an earth platform which was a beautiful scenic spot. It is said that in the Spring and Autumn Period, a great musician named Shi Kuang from Jin Kingdom once played wind instruments on the platform. So the later generations call the platform "wind platform". In the Ming and Qing Dynasty, the buildings on this platform were restored for many times.

Average
Even though this park is not often visited by tourists, as it is not located in the downtown area and not as famous as other scenic spots in Kaifeng, however this is a very beautiful and quiet place for people to take a walk and relax, as there are usually fewer visitors here.
