Located in the east of Nanyang Basin, Henan Province, Tonghe River is windingly trickling. It is one branch of Yangtze River and runs into the Tonghe River of Tanghe County. The Tonghe River has winding river way and a great many shoals and luxuriant float grass. Therefore, it is a good place for grazing geese and ducks. The eggs of geese and ducks have excellent quality, big shape, thin skin and beautiful appearance. After dealed with complicated pickling skill, it has long fragrant flavor and is tasty. So it is called Tongdan Eggs.
