Peony:, Heze

Peony, also called Heze Peony, has a long history and wide recognition. It is characterized by large blossom, amorous color, beautiful outlook, and lasting aroma, for which it is known as the “Queen of Flowers”, and reputed as “The peony of Heze tops the word; the most beautiful Peony can only be found in Heze”. By now there are about 6000 square meters of peony plant, over 600 varieties, and eight families. Through cultivation, they can bloom in every season. Peony of Heze is superior in terms of cultivation acreage, scientific and technological research, the quantity of export. Besides its value for appreciation, it still has high economic and medical values. The extract of peony pollen is a kind of rare spice. The root of peony, generally known as Danpi, is a useful medicine. It tastes a little bitter, but very effective for eliminating the over-heat in internal organs (such as heart, liver and kidney) and regulating blood condition.
