Lighting Fireworks is one of the most important customs in the Spring Festival celebration. The Hong Kong Lunar New Year Fireworks Display held since 1982 in Victoria Harbor. It is held on The Second Day of Lunar New Year above the sky of Victoria Harbour in the evening. The 2012 Hong Kong Lunar New Year Fireworks Display is to kick off at eight o''''clock 24 January at Victorian Harbor between Central and Tsim Sha Tsui.
The firework display consists of dozens of scenes and dubbed in different background music which will last for around 23 minutes. Watching hundreds of thousands of fireworks exploding above the sky of Victorian Harbor and celebrate Chinese New Year with over 400,000 people can be really an impressive experience.
Venue: Victoria Harbour between Central and Tsim Sha Tsui
Date: 24 January (the second day of the Lunar New Year)
Time: 8:00pm (around 23 minutes)
