Hong Kong Harbor City, located in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon of Hong Kong, is Hong Kong’s largest shopping center and one of the largest shopping malls in western Kowloon. Harbor City covers an area of 2,000,000square feet, including 50 eateries, 2 large theaters, 3 restaurants and about 700 retail shops. It also boasts 3 upscale Hotels , a service apartment with 500 rooms, a private lounge and over 2,000 parking spaces. The harbor city architectural complex is mainly composed of four parts, namely Ocean Terminal, Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel, Ocean Centre and Gateway Tower.
The architectural complex of Hong Kong Harbor City stretches south to Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier and north to China Hong Kong City. It’s also one of the scenic spots for both shopping and sightseeing. On weekends, over 150,000 visitors flock to the shopping mall, including local residents, tourists from other areas and free walkers from mainland China. In the shopping mall, there is a small area for performance and exhibition, and the shopping mall usually holds “Music in the City” on weekends when a band is invited to play music there. During festivals especially on Christmas Day and Chinese New Year, Hong Kong Harbor City will be beautifully decorated with rich festal atmosphere.
Shopping Districts
Hong Kong Harbor City is composed of four shopping districts, including Ocean Terminal, Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel Mall, Ocean Centre and Gateway mall. Ocean Terminal consists of underground kid-x, sport-x on the second floor and LCX on the third floor selling children’s goods, sporting goods and clothing for young people respectively. Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel Mall boasts Lane Crawford flagship store and characteristic cinema. Ocean Centre boasts a number of famous shops which are even famous in the world, such as Louis, Gucci, YSL, Prada and Chanel.
